刘汝山教授，男，语言学硕士，山东省国外语言学学会副会长。

1977年毕业于南京大学外文系英语专业,任教后曾先后在新西兰惠灵顿维多利亚大学和澳大利亚西悉尼大学访学。

研究方向为应用语言学和社会语言学。先后主编、参编、主审词典等工具书及教材多部，在International Journal of the Sociology of Language、Journal of Asian Pacific Communication、《当代语言学》、《山东外语教学》等国际、国内学术刊物发表学术论文及书评近30篇。

曾先后获山东省高校优秀教学成果二等奖（第一带头人）、学校优秀教学成果一等奖及校哲学社会科学成果奖等。曾先后被评为校优秀共产党员和优秀教师。

Professor Liu Rushan, Vice-Dean of Foreign Languages College and vice-director of Shandong  Linguistics Abroad Society, focuses on applied linguistics and sociolinguistics. He cooperated on a project of the Ministry of Education and completed independently two projects of the university. He has won a state patent, and has got several books and more than 20 academic papers published. He has been awarded a provincial second-class prize and the university’s first-class prize for excellent teaching achievement.
